San Antonio tax preparation for your business and your family.

Business and personal tax returns prepared by Enrolled Agents, filed accurately and on time. We prepare both sides with the same team, so your business return and your personal return tell the same story and nothing falls between them.

Where this helps

Tax season shouldn't feel like a reckoning.

For most business owners, spring means digging up documents, answering the same questions twice, and hoping the number isn't ugly. When the business return and the personal return are prepared by different people, things get missed, and the deadlines stack up on top of each other.

We prepare your returns with one team that sees the whole picture. You get a clear list of what we need, a return that's checked before it's filed, and answers in plain English when you have questions.

Your business return and your personal return affect each other. They should be prepared together.

Sound familiar?

Why San Antonio owners switch tax preparers.

Two preparers, two stories

One person does the business return and someone else does the personal one. The numbers don't line up, and no one is looking at both.

Extensions every single year

The return is never ready by the deadline, so you file an extension out of habit. An extension gives you more time to file, but not more time to pay.

A preparer you can't reach

You hear from them once a year, in April. When a question or a notice comes up in the summer, there's no one to call.

Returns you haven't filed

A busy year turned into two. Unfiled returns don't go away on their own, and the sooner they're filed, the fewer penalties pile up.

The Texas Franchise Tax report

Texas has no personal income tax, but most LLCs and corporations still have to file an annual Franchise Tax report, even when no tax is due. Missing it can put your entity out of good standing.

A notice after you filed

The IRS sends a letter questioning something on the return. You want the person who prepared it to be able to answer for it.

What you get

Every return you need, filed right.

  • Estimated payment vouchers for next year
  • Prior-year and unfiled returns

Key deadlines

The dates that matter for calendar-year filers.

  • January 31: W-2s and 1099-NEC forms due to workers and the IRS
  • March 15: S corporation and partnership returns due
  • April 15: Individual and C corporation returns due, and the first quarterly estimated payment
  • May 15: Texas Franchise Tax report due

Your returns are prepared by federally licensed Enrolled Agents, the same people who can represent you before the IRS if a question ever comes up. Want to lower next year's bill instead of just reporting this year's? That's tax advisory, year-round planning that shapes the return before it's filed. Getting ready for January? Start with our year-end tax and 1099 checklist.

Common questions

What San Antonio owners ask about tax preparation first.

Do you prepare both business and personal returns?

Yes. We prepare returns for S corporations, partnerships, C corporations, sole proprietors, and nonprofits, along with the owners' personal returns. Preparing both with the same team means the numbers line up and nothing gets missed between them.

What documents do I need to bring?

Usually last year's return, your income forms (W-2s, 1099s, and K-1s), your business's year-end financial statements, and records of major purchases, loans, or changes in the business. We send you a checklist based on your situation.

Texas has no state income tax. What state filings does my business have?

Most LLCs and corporations in Texas file an annual Franchise Tax report with the Texas Comptroller, usually due May 15, along with a Public Information Report. Many small businesses owe no franchise tax but still have to file. If you earn income in other states, you may have returns there too.

If I file an extension, do I still have to pay by the deadline?

Yes. An extension gives you more time to file the return, not more time to pay. Any tax you owe is still due by the original deadline, and interest and penalties can apply to unpaid amounts. We estimate what you owe before we file the extension.

I haven't filed in a few years. Can you help?

Yes. We prepare and file your prior-year returns and work out what you owe. If there's a balance you can't pay at once or penalties you want to address, our Enrolled Agents can help through our IRS representation service.

What's the difference between tax preparation and tax advisory?

Tax preparation reports what already happened and files your return. Tax advisory happens during the year and looks ahead, helping you make decisions that lower what you owe. Many clients use both.

Do you offer tax preparation in Spanish?

Yes. Hablamos español. You can work with our team in English or Spanish.
